CREW

  • CAPTAIN: Up to $1350.00 per day for all motor vessels, power boats and yachts

  • DECKHAND: $400.00 per day

  • CREDENTIALED SEAMAN: $475.00 per day

TRAVEL FEES

  • PROVISIONS: $100.00 per day per person (food and water)

  • TRAVEL and OTHER COSTS: Half the daily rate plus cost of tickets. Transportation cost round trip using practical means - rental car, train, taxi, bus or plane for longer distances.

  • FUEL COST: DEPOSIT REQUIRED ON EXPECTED FUEL COST. Fuel, oil or other consumables used during the trip will be at the owner's expense.

  • DOCKAGE FEES: We do not mark-up the cost of dockage fees. Power vessels on the Intracoastal will have docking fees. We don't run the vessels 24 hours a day so we will sleep on the boats in marinas if appropriate anchorage is not available.

  • TRANSIT FEES or Port Cost: At owners expense no mark-up

Our fees include the following:

  • Complete USCG safety inspection of the boat upon arrival

  • Boat is rinsed and chamois dried each day of the voyage

  • On the final day, the boat is completely washed and chamois dried and the interior is cleaned (head, galley, staterooms, salon, engine room, etc.)

  • Full written report at the conclusion of the voyage which includes all itemized expenses with receipts, ships log, fuel consumption, MPG, average speed, miles traveled, engine and generator hours, and both daily and average fuel burn.

  • Daily contact with the owner via cell phone and email

  • Advance reservation required

  • PAYMENT IS REQUIRED upon reservation. 

  • PAYMENTS: Cash, Credit Card, Check by mail. Checks must be cleared prior trip.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Captain Dan Mercier at his sole discretion may cancel or postpone a delivery due to weather conditions or any unsafe condition of vessel or unforeseen circumstances beyond his control. Every effort will be made to reschedule the delivery under the same terms and conditions. 

Captain Dan Mercier is not responsible for any loss incurred by the customer as a result of a cancellation except for the fees paid, any fees would be refunded.

If the customer cancels the reservation for any reason, 50% of the amount paid will not be refunded

VESSEL CARE

TOP TO BOTTOM MONTHLY CARE

  • Weekly $20.50 per ft. a month

  • Bi-weekly $10.50 per ft. a month

  • Will call wash $10.00 per ft. 

  • Eisenglass, Stratoglass, and windshield treatment/cleaning $1.00 per ft. or $30.00 minimum

COMPLETE TOPSIDE & HULL SIDE DETAIL

Includes machine polish and wax, wax metals removal mildew and rust stains, treat windows, canvas and cushions, all compartments except interior (sleeping quarters and galleys) wash and hand dry.

  • Rub rail up- Will inspect vessel for pricing

  • Rub rail down- Will inspect vessel for pricing

**For larger vessels with excessive surface areas price will vary upon estimate

MONTHLY MAINTENANCE

FULL SERVICE

  • Wash topsides every week

  • Start and run engine(s) every two weeks

  • Check bilges pumps, batteries, all electronics

  • Clean sea strainers

  • Monitor, plan and oversee maintenance of engines and machinery

  • Pictures and e-mail sent after every service

  • All the above for only $20.50 per ft.

  • All of the above plus Dive and clean bottom for an additional $4.00 per ft.

3/4 CAPTAIN

Need a captain for a day?

Includes boat prep, prepared cooler with your food and drink of choice (food and drinks are the customer’s expense) and boat in the water ready for a good time.

  • ½ Day $150.00 per hr                            

  • ¾ Day $150.00 per hr                       

  • Full Day $1350.00                                  

  • Individual visit $200

  • Storm damage check $200

  • Emergency visit $275

BOTTOM CLEANING

  • Bottom cleaning (will call) $4.25 per ft.

  • Monthly bottom cleaning (up to 49 ft.) $4.00 per ft.

  • Bottom cleaning (over 49 ft.) $4.25 per ft.

  • Search and recovery $250.00 per hour (1 hour minimum)

  • Stain removal above waterline $3.00 per foot

  • Zinc replacement $25.00 per zine + cost of zinc

  • Cutlass bearing replacement (in water)

  • Propeller removal and installation call for pricing

  • Underwater photos and video of your hull are available upon request

PARTS & SERVICE

At your dock or in our shop. Call for pricing and recommendations.

  • Hardware and boating supplies brought to your dock upon regular service

  • Propeller service of all sizes. Removal, conditioning etc.
